The rare in scale four-meter kitchen island is functional from all sides. It is based on Rotpunkt oak cabinets with numerous storage drawers, and on top is a huge one-piece Lechner top made of tempered glass. The material cannot be scratched or broken with improvised means, so the original appearance will remain for more than one decade. The corners of the table top are rounded in a special way to avoid child injuries. The tabletop is framed on both sides by a massive oak bar counter.
